In Bloom & A Winter's Snowscape — 260-foot airport mural, Salt Lake City International Airport
Commissioned by the Salt Lake City International Airport, this two-part mural installation spans 260 feet and celebrates Utah’s natural beauty through changing seasons.
InBloom explores the renewal of spring through a vibrant array of wildflowers and perennials native to Utah. The sweeping design draws travelers into the corridor with bold color and movement, evoking feelings of growth, beauty, and connection to the land.
A Winter Snowscape captures the state’s dramatic terrain of valleys, cliffs, and canyons, guiding viewers from night into day across a luminous landscape filled with snow flurries and shifting light.
This 260-foot two-part commission is one of DAAS's largest public art installations to date, greeting millions of travelers annually at Salt Lake City International Airport. It demonstrates DAAS's capability to deliver large-scale, site-specific public murals for transportation hubs, civic spaces, and institutional clients.
