Flourish — large-scale city hall mural, South Salt Lake City-Utah

Commissioned by the City of South Salt Lake, Utah, for the South Salt Lake Mural Fest 2024 & 2025. Located on the City Hall Building, Flourish was completed in two phases across the south, north, and west façades of the building.

Phase 1, completed in 2024, introduced the design titled Rhythmic Landscapes, inspired by the ebb and flow of Utah’s terrain and its shifting seasonal palette.

Phase 2, completed in 2025, expanded the concept with imagery of native flora, symbolizing the growth and vitality of the South Salt Lake community.

Flourish is one of DAAS's largest civic building commissions, spanning three facades of the South Salt Lake City Hall and completed across two years in partnership with the South Salt Lake Mural Fest. This project demonstrates DAAS's experience with phased, multi-surface public art commissions for city governments and civic institutions. DAAS has completed mural projects for cities across the United States, including Salt Lake City, Clearwater, Marion, and Winston-Salem.
